Bill, I think UK advertising is about the only thing we Brits do better than Americans. I have a house in AZ, so I'm a massive fan of the States, but when I'm there and watch the Christmas ads I have to say they generally are not that good.
I haven't seen any Christmas adverts this year (like Jon, I never watch ads). I do like Ms Scarlet's take on an older Boots ad though ("Here Come the Girls!")
I never watch adverts. Unless they have buff young men taking their clothes off in a laundrette or drinking Diet Coke, of course... Jx

The Tesco advert ends with, This Christmas, nothing’s stopping us. Nothing except Omicron! Seriously, why is nobody wearing masks?
